UMMA Community Clinic
UMMA envisions itself as part of a larger network of institutions addressing the health and well-being of the underserved and indigent, mindful of the cultural, spiritual, social and economic realities that impinge upon them, and the traditional barriers to accessing care. Their mission is to promote the well-being of the underserved by providing access to high-quality healthcare for all, regardless of ability to pay. Their services, activities and governance reflect the Islamic values and moral principles which inspired our founders. These include the core values which are universally shared and revered by society at large: Service, Compassion, Human Dignity, Social Justice, and Ethical Conduct.
Website design & management
We have worked with UMMA to actively update their website. As a fast-paced non-profit that is constantly growing, it was difficult for them to keep their website up-to-date. We have been able to help them keep their patients and donors informed on upcoming and current events by updated their landing page frequently as well as blogging on their behalf.
It is an amazing opportunity for DM MEdia to partner with UMMA Community Clinic. We love being able to share their positivity and outreach in the South LA community via their Instagram, as well as their other other platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin. Their Instagram serves as a place to post photos of the community, events, and the history behind UMMA.
We have been able to take over UMMA’s Twitter! This is a great platform to be able to talk directly with their patients as well as reaching out to the South LA community by informing them about events.
We have had the pleasure of posting to LinkedIn on UMMA’s behalf, targeting our messages towards donors and partners.
Our print designs for UMMA Community Clinic have included flyers for events, educational brochures for patients, folders for events, and print advertisements. These have helped the community to better understand UMMA’s culture and services
